Product Description 68 inch dual canopy windproof umbrella. Often copied, never duplicated
Amazon.com Product Description Similar to the GustBuster Classic umbrella but with a larger diameter, the black Doorman keeps you dry wherever you roam. The Doorman boasts all of GustBuster's patented, proprietary design and construction technology, including a pinchless open and close release system and a double-reinforced, lightning-resistant fiberglass shaft that's designed not to crimp or snap. The burn-embossed hardwood J-handle, meanwhile, offers a classic look. Best of all, the Doorman offers an expansive 62-inch canopy that comfortable protects two people at once. Wind-tested by the College of Aeronautics to 55 miles per hour, the Doorman carries a lifetime warranty.

Good size and resists the wind... December 24, 2008 J. Moore (Seattle, WA USA) I live in Seattle and work downtown. On stormy days the wind really whistles down the streets and other umbrellas I own will easily invert. This umbrella does not and is large enough to cover myself and the backpack I wear. The hook handle makes it easy to keep out of the way when I ride the bus or when I need an extra hand I can hang it on my arm. A very good umbrella...
Very Nice Look, Withstands Chicago Winds, But Release Is Poorly Constructed June 22, 2008 R. Milton (Chicago, IL USA) I purchased this umbrella years ago, and have used it in extremely windy conditions with no problems. The sole issue is the release is a piece of metal that sits snuggly in the nice wooden pole. As you may expect, over time this metal will work its way out because use will widen the gap in the wooden pole. After that, you're better of sending it in for repairs.
Try the Pro-Series May 22, 2008 Daniel Sutton (New York, NY, United States of America) Dear Amazonians, I read the reviews of the Doorman umbrella, by GustBuster, and have some advice to add! While I have not purchased the Doorman model myself, I have purchased two of the Pro-Series umbrellas, and am very impressed by their quality. I am disappointed to read that the Doorman model is not of the highest quality, but would recommend the Pro-Series. The price difference is negligible, and the quality is superior to that of any other brand. This umbrella really is windproof! When I am outside in the wind and rain, I look at other people and see them flapping and flying around like Mary Poppins, but I am still happy and dry with my GustBuster! I am a satisfied customer! Adieu, --Daniel
super durable in crazy mit windtunnels April 24, 2008 Jade M. Goheen (Cambridge, MA) This umbrella is so lovely! I love how gigantic it is, it perfectly fits myself, my boyfriend, and our backpacks. (No more wet books!) The wind here at MIT is extremely intense, and this umbrella handles it no problem. I haven't had any issues with opening or closing it, and it is easy enough to carry to work or wherever. Not too heavy, but not exactly uber-portable.
Best Umbrella Ever -- But It's Big January 20, 2008 G. Jones This is a wonderful umbrella. It easily covers two people (or myself and two grandchildren) however I do not recommend using it on a crowded walk. Standard umbrellas "bump" in crowds and this one is a real hog. But if other umbrella-carriers are not an issue, this one is a treasure.
