Product Description For storing your game progress and carrying with you, wherever you go
Amazon.com Product Description Building a better system from the ground up sometimes involves digging into even the most mundane components. Take memory cards, for instance. To provide larger storage capacity and faster access rates--PlayStation2 cards transfer data 200 times faster than cards for the original PlayStation--PlayStation2 developers have upgraded the technology for the new memory card. The 8 MB Memory Card uses Flash Memory, the storage technology that's revolutionizing handheld computers, digital cameras, and MP3 players. In contrast, the 128 KB memory cards that were designed for the original PlayStation use memory blocks. While large files can spill over several blocks, you can't store more than one file per block in that design, no matter how small the file. The 8 MB Memory Card allieviates that problem by organizing and storing files much more like a computer hard disk.

Amazon's Review Set-up Sucks... December 22, 2008 Timothy B. Jude (The war inside my head...) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
wow, it's a memory card.. Yeah it worked perfectly when I bought it.. But the questions "How much fun is this game?" Not fun at all to stare at a memory card. >.> "How do you rate this game overall" Uh, if it's a game then it sucks because it doesn't even have 1 level... Don't bug me with stuff like this Amazon... At least make the questions fit the product for crying out loud...

Once i started using this memory card, it has never failed and it saves successfully every part of the game I've played. I really recomend this product.

I gaving a rating of one star because I can't say anything about this product since I HAVE NEVER RECEIVED IT (it was my FIRST online purchase via amazon)..the seller advised that the commercial invoice was sent, but I got notice that they are STILL waiting for said INVOICE to release my purchase. So the seller got the better deal on this occasion; he has by now spent my hard-earned money; on the other hand, I have NOTHING to show for it...se la vie! MG
It works July 14, 2008 Rui F. Resendes 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
It worked. Still working after a few months. What else can I say about a memory card?
